 Going Formal!

Our first formal dinner aboard. We had drinks in the lounge and watched the ballroom dancers. We had explored the ship and were excited to be at sea.

Portland, Maine | We toured along the coast, visited a lighthouse, and saw some amazing mansions. Beautiful!

Kennebunkport, Maine | We saw the Bush estate, shopped in Kennebunk, and had a lobster roll.

Portland Harbor | All Aboard 6:30 p.m. Barely made it! Leaving Portland behind, cruising overnight to be in Bar Harbor, Maine tomorrow morning. We had so much fun.

Acadia National Park Bar Harbor, Maine | We rode right along the ocean's edge, on Park Loop Drive. Our first stop was Thunder Hole where granite meets ocean.

Thunder Hole | Bubbles Hill | Scenic surroundings all day.

Lobster, Lobster, Lobster Can't get too much of such a good thing! | Lunchtime

Cadillac Mountain | Wild Gardens of Acadia | From the top of Cadillac Mountain we could see all of Mount Desert Island. We could even see our ship out in the harbor. We ended our tour at the Acadia Gardens and then returned to the ship by tender.

 Leaving Bar Harbor by Tender

The Bay of Fundy was amazing. We got to view a low tide from a covered bridge. The colors were vivid under the clouds. | From the bridge, you could see another covered bridge in the distance.

Whenever we're aboard, it's fun, fun, fun! | Fine dining, shows, Texas Hold 'Em, boobies, martinis, towel pets, hot tubbing, and more!

 Good Times!

 Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia

One of the most beautiful places on earth. It was like looking at silence, or serenity. The soft fog against the harsh ocean and the vibrant, bright colors against the fog. The disparity was entrancing. It was a dream to photograph!

 Exploring Peggy's Cove

The Cove Lighthouse We explored the rocks around the lighthouse and at the ocean's edge. Spectacular!

Halifax, Nova Scotia | When we returned from the cove we dropped G-mama off to do some shopping. G-daddy went to the Brewery. The kids and I went to explore Halifax. We took a tour through the downtown area.

The buildings in Halifax were beautiful. We stopped for lunch at McDonalds where we had lobster rolls! The kids liked the Canadian maple leaf on the McD's sign. We waited for our pink topped bus outside this beautiful church.

Halifax Citadel | We saw the changing of the guards at the Citadel, high on a hill over-looking the harbor. History everywhere.

From the Citadel we could see the whole city of Halifax and the harbor below.

 Halifax Public Gardens

More shipboard fun. Jewelry making, ice carving, tea time, and more fine dining! | All Aboard!

 BostonGhost Tour

 Downtown Boston

Downtown Boston John was in Boston for a convention, so we met at Quincy Market for some lunch and shopping. Everyone found something cool.

Time for some R and R!

 Time for one more adventure!

Last night, and back to Baltimore. | Thanks G-mama and G-daddy!
