S: The McGanns family vacation to the Gulf of Mexico
BC: What a wonderful time we had on vacation. We saw many wonderful things, like a pod of wild dolphins playing in the bay. We rode a ferry boat while in the car. We saw a flock of pelicans fly by our car while we were driving on the beach. We saw sharks and stingrays and giant sea turtles at the Texas State Aquarium. We went swimming in the ocean and came back with sea weed in all our bathing suits, very uncomfortable. We grilled burgers at the hotels picnic area and got free breakfast every morning. We saw the U.S.S. Lexington. The kids played in a giant Great White Sharks mouth in front of a store. We got stuck in traffic all the way from Austin to McGregor. Vacation is fun, but it's always good to get home.

16: The Texas State Aquarium had many wonderful things to sea and touch. The kids loved the dolphin show and trying to pet a sting ray, which we all finally got to do, it took Lilly the longest since her arm just was not long enough.

Hunter and Zack spend most of their time playing in the waves and riding their boogie boards while Lilly spent most of her time playing in the sand, building sand castles and collecting sea shells, which we later found were alive, so we put them back.
23: This was a wonderful vacation. We saw and did so many new things. On June 11, we left our home and drove three hours to San Antonio, Texas. First we went to see the Alamo. It was right in the middle of the city. We walked through the gift shop and around to complex but the kids got bored really fast. They had no interest in reading the history of it. We saw several weapons, one by the famous Davy Crockett, and one donated by Fess Parker. We saw original Bowie knives made by James Bowie himself. Other than that, the kids were hot an bored. They did however enjoy the cannons. | This was a wonderful family vacation. We left our home about 10am on June 11, 2012 and headed to San Antonio, Texas. Our first stop was the famous Alamo. It has a rich history here and a beautiful structure made of old school bricks. After that we went across the street to Ripley's Believe it of Not. The kids loved all the really weird stuff in their, like the two way mirror, the strange man on a couch and the worlds biggest tire. Three hours later, we pulled into our hotel in Port Aransas, Texas. It was beautiful their. After dinner we we unpacked and then went swimming which felt so good after our long day in the car and the heat.
