FC: HOPE Mission Trip Chihuahua, Mexico July 2008

July 2008, Justin Robinson , Shaye and Michele Painter journeyed to Chihuahua, Mexico on a special mission trip.. The hope was to begin gathering information for the beginning of the non-profit organization of HOPE Misssions. Several orphanages and one shelter were visited to gather information on the needs of orphan and homeless children. The goal of the organization is to help educate, feed, clothe, and house children in need.. The following photos show the children, the orphanages, the shelter, the landscape and more of Chihuahua. Children deserve to have a good life . The following photos are meant to tell the story.

This is the good life. These houses are in the nice part of town.

These children are playing cards and being shy. This was the first orphanage visited. This orphanage has many supporters.

Libres Por Amor Orphanage The rules are stated for all to see.

 Boys are doing acrobatics inside.

 Inside and outside the orphange.

The boys play inside while they are waiting for lunch to be served. They have one small television that they gather around to watch. There are not any chairs to sit on so they lay on the floor. The girls are upstairs having a group session. The door is locked so no one can enter without permission.

The children play in the street when the adults allow them to go outside to play.

This is where the new orphanage will be built. There is a huge gaping hole in the front of the building. There is a swimming pool. It looks like a large drum. The smaller building is for teenage boys.

Justin riding on the youth bus to visit a shelter for children and visit the families in the poor section of Chihuahua.

The youth visiting families | Three little boys live here.

The boys play with their puppy. | An old tub is the puppy's fence.

This is the children's play area. | The family lives in a tar paper house.

It is all about doing the Lord's work. The building represents hope for the future. we can make a difference.
