1: Vegas | We enjoyed our long weekend trip to Vegas to celebrate Wayne's 49th birthday. We even got lucky on some penny slots - hitting the progressive a few times.
16: Bluegreen Club 36 resort
18: I watched the young dolphins with the "trainer for a day".
19: I spotted this one playing fetch with the trainer and then heard them announce "Bella loves to play with her ball". My Bella loves to play too!
39: The white lion only wanted to sleep. I wish he would have woke up for a few minutes, but it wasn't meant to be today. Maybe tomorrow?
41: As we walked along the strip, we stopped in the Venetian. Good thing - I played Price is Right and hit the Progressive. I won $243.37. Yahoo!
43: Vegas has added a lot of stores and restaurants along the strip. They even have a Gilley's now.
46: Nothing was going on in Gilley's when we peeked in. They had some of the old slot machines - the one arm bandits.
48: I know Vegas is trying to attract families, but it just seemed wrong to have Disney characters on the street after dark.
53: We went back into the Mirage in the morning. No one was playing craps, so we played Superman penny slot. I hit the minor progressive. | We cashed out and I went back to the Secret Garden while Wayne played the table games.
54: As soon as they let me in, I went straight to the tiger & lion exhibit.
78: The sisters were walking around the enclosure. Then one let out a big roar and jumped on the other one. One almost immediately fell to the ground. The lady beside me thought it died. Then we saw the head roll around as she looked for her sister and went to the opposite side of the enclosure.
85: After spending several hours with the tigers in the morning, we had lunch and then walked around the strip gambling a little here and there.
86: We played craps for a while and then hit the different penny slots to see how the bonus rounds would be. Wayne hit the daily bonus on Monopoly on his birthday. I tried the dollar machine with $15 million as the top prize. I hit the progressive, but the lowest one on the machine - $45.34. Better to win a little than lose a lot. Till next time...
