31: Glen Canyon Float Trip Page, AZ Since the boat launch is right under the bridge, everyone was required to wear a hard hat from the bus to the boat. The buses have to clear security before driving through a very loooooooooong tunnel that goes right to the bottom of the dam. June 4

46: The same evening that we watched the beautiful sunset over the Grand Canyon was also the night of the full moon. What another beautiful amazing part of God's creation to just stop and take the time to watch it unfold moment by moment... As Tori once said as a little girl --Vacations are made for stopping. And so they are.
47: Full moon over the Canyon The next day while we were there, Venus crossed between the Sun and Earth. There were telescopes set up in various places. It mostly looked like a black dot on a big white circle. They say it happens only every hundred years or so.

74: Parts of the trail are marked with rock cairns, since the trail really just climbs up the smooth surface of one big rock for most of the hike. Some creative-talented person even made a cairn into an arch.
