S: Family cruise 2011
BC: Wow! What an amazing week! Our family is truly blessed to have each other. Spending this time together only confirms it. We love each and every one of you very much! Can't wait until the next family trip.
Let the Fun Begin Our first family trip began on a cool and fresh Sunday morning on July 10th, 2011. We flew down to LA and boarded the Carnival Splendor for a 7 day cruise to Mexico, stopping at Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallerta. Many thanks to Mom for making this trip possible!
Someone is already having so much fun!
A day at sea.The sun slept in and gloriously came out just before noon. We are just soaking it all in! | Day 1
First formal night. The food was so yummy! We indulged on lobster, fish, duck and lots of desserts.
 Day 2
 Cabo San Lucas
This day started with a wild catamaran ride to the breathtaking Arch. Then relaxing on a beach reserved just for us with an authentic Mexican lunch. Ahhh...Heavenly!! Living. Loving. Laughing.
 Meanwhile, back at the ship...
Mikayla was getting herself ready to venture out into the Spray Park and to take a dip in the pool with Daddy. For now, she prefers Daddy's arms rather than the water.
day 3 Cabo San lucas | Hot...Hot...Hot...Our second day in Cabo was spent walking on the boardwalk, finding refuge in the aquarium, and bartering at the local market for treasures to bring home.
PING PONG | No trip would be complete without some ping pong. Our family spent quality time cheering each other on and showing the competition a thing or two.
And the winner is...Ashley! Ashley brought home some hardware from her awesome ping pong game as her adoring fans watched on. Mikayla was super happy for Ashley!
A Night Out | It was so wonderful spending the evenings with each other. Eating, drinking, laughing, eating some more, dancing, and singing all made for some magical nights.
 Day 4
Blue sombrero or green sombrero? Green of course! | Hmmm...
Mikayla is enjoying her first eclaire. If you give a girl a day at sea... eating will happen!
Days 5 & 6 Days at Sea | There was also lots of time to spend just being girls. Getting our hair braided by Por-Por or playing games with Yee-Mah's necklace. It was all so much fun!
Our last formal dinner on our fun-filled cruise. Our servers, Manuel and Alexander were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite and every sip of our meals. Besides the shrimp cocktail, grilled steak, and molten chocolate cake, spending time as a family enjoying a meal together will be missed the most.
 Lots of love for Mikayla
