Your bus arrives at Outdoor Ed when another bus is leaving. Everyone hops out the bus and bolts to their cabin. I thought, who am I roomed with, who's in my day group, whens the zipline, and am I going to have fun. Of course I did, all the activities were great, I was roomed with all my friends, and was never bored. If you weren't doing an activity you would be hanging out with all your friends. I was always occupied. There was a real survival game, a nature filled hike, and the best campfire ever. All those activities were the most memorable things in Outdoor Ed.
In an activity I had to carry a Satchel on my back.
The zip line was one of the best activities, almost everyone hung backwards.
I was showing my group where I should place a path so we wouldn't fall into cheese.
Everything in Outdoor Ed is enjoyable. The survival game is one of the best. It seemed real, we acted like elk in the woods. Fighting for survival, and searching for food and water. The point was to avoid the teachers and try to find food and water. The teachers would have super soaker's and if they shot you, you lose your life card. Your life card is how you stay alive, if you lose it you can go get another card. Plus, you can get plenty of exercise and be active. The survival game was best school related war ever.
The fierce teachers were prepared for battle.
Mrs. Whitney was hiding, waiting to attack.
 I surrender, don't shoot me.
Another great activity we did was the hike. It was a whopping two miles. It was fun, easy, short, and a lot more. The clouds weren't acting nice that day so we had to turn around early. Luckily, we got to stop by a river and take a nice dip. On our way back we saw all the elk in the Rocky Mountains. One had the antlers the size of me. From the non tiring hike we got to go straight back to a relaxing campfire.
Always a New Adventure | We saw lots of wildlife on the hike like elk.
Always a New Adventure | The hike was a great activity for our day group.
I was amazed by the beautiful scenery.
Fireside Fun | The campfire was one of the best campfires I've ever been to, and I have been to a lot. I got to know people better and know myself better, and I learned how to just enjoy myself. For instance, I never knew Mathew was so funny. Now I know that if he's ever a comedian I will definitely go to his shows. In the songs we sang I got to know myself better. At first I thought this is lame but when I tried doing I had a ton of fun. In an hour period I grew as a friend and a person. It was the best ending of Outdoor Ed.
Theres a bear, was a super funny skit at the campfire.
Logan fell right through the blanket because we pulled his chair out.
Best Catch of the Day! | Josh also fell through the blankets.
Always a New Adventure | This years trip to Outdoor Ed was phenomenal. There was a survival game where we didn't go down without a fight. A hike that I will never forget. A campfire that could make S.N.L. Our time at Outdoor Ed was the best. No school will beat the enjoyable time that we had.
There was an amazing river that we got to take a dip in.
We were gifted from mother nature with this great nature.
