1: Adam's April visit prior to our return to Michigan

2: The natural BEAUTY of the Arizona desert in bloom.

4: One of over 100 blooms on the new cereus cactus in our backyard. It blooms at night!

7: Blooms around the neighborhood.

8: Super moon rising over the Catalina Mountains| May 5

9: Our bird friends take their last drink before we turned off the fountain until next fall.

10: Let the drive begin. First stop, beautiful Sedona!

11: Look closely - How did Dan take the picture on the left?

12: Sedona and the Oak Canyon drive north to Flagstaff

13: Beautiful view along the way to Monument Valley

16: The rugged drive through the valley

17: Monuments - Three Sisters and the Seven Totem Pole

18: Each of the many stops throughout the park provide spectacular views of the monuments.

19: Interesting vegetation adds to the beauty of the Valley.

23: Next stop - A Car Wash!!!, Moab, Utah and Arches National Park.

26: So many unusual rock formations as well as all the arches!

27: Beautiful stops and easy hikes to see the sights.

28: The hike in to see Sand Arch.

33: The rain comes just before the last stop.

34: We try to find Canyonlands using our GPS! Beautiful drive but road signs eventually got us there! | Really? This is the road to Canyonlands??

35: Had we followed the GPS, this is the way we would have entered. | Following the signs, our only hazards were the cows crossing the road. Once at the entrance, it was clear sailing.

39: The beautiful views of Canyonlands National Park

41: Interesting vegetation adds to the beauty of Canyonlands.

42: Views of the Green River Valley

43: Someone's children were standing on the edge of this ledge earlier - I couldn't watch!

46: The drive continues eastward through Colorado. Look at the snow on Copper Mountain - but no time for skiing.

47: Our hotel near Breckenridge, Colorado had these beautiful views of Lake Dillion.

48: Can you tell me which way that truck on the right is going? Trucks, trucks, trucks in Chicago! | We leave the beauty behind and continue east to Denver. Check the smog line on the horizon! | We caught bugs in Nebraska, knew we were in Iowa when we saw the wind farms, and the orange soldiers appeared in Illinois.

49: A welcomed sight is the "Pure Michigan" sign before the arrival back at the lake. | Sunset at the Knaup's! Thanks to good friends we enjoyed drinks and dinner upon arrival.
