FC: Calgary Trip SUMMER
OUR TRIP BEGAN like any other. We found a great hotel that was nowhere near anything we had planned to see that week and settled right in. The HOTEL offered free tickets to the attractions with our stay. It was a GREAT incentive. We ALSO loved the free breakfast to get us going every morning. THE BOYS and grandpa Bill were up by 6am every day. The HOTEL had a great water slide the BOYS took full ADVANTAGE of. It was a GREAT way to end each day.
 HERITAGE PARK |
Heritage Park was a great way to see how things were done. We LOVED the Candy Shop the best. | Vintage was the POPULAR word of the day.
Gasoline ALLEY was the highlight for THE BOYS
Vintage Cars and Gas TANKS of all shapes and sizes.
We finished off the day with a TRAIN RIDE around the PARK.
 CALGARY TOWER |
The glass floor was EXCITING to stand on. The window washers looked like they were having fun. | look WAY down there's Grandpa Bill in the car!! | 0
THE View From ABOVE At 1228 meters above sea level, the Calgary Tower is home to the highest 360 observation deck in the world .
 Telus SPARK |
 CALGARY ZOO|
There is always something cool to see at the CALGARY ZOO. We did not get in to see the penguins as the lineup was over two hours long. Not happening on a hot day like this one we said. We did still get to see a lot of the ZOO. Even Bill tagged along thanks to the excellent parking spot I had found close to the gate.
 CALAWAY PARK |
