1: Gem Mining, Waterfalls, shopping, here we come | What a beautiful view! | The Three Amigos cross into Metropolis, IL
2: Yes it rained. | Steve did all the driving.
3: The scenery was beautiful.
4: Even the sites at the rest areas were beautiful!
12: The cabin was great, Steve and Theresa could practically fish from the deck! | the haunted room
14: Theresa finds a 26.5 carat ruby (a squeaker) within ten minutes!!
15: Always looking for that special gem | Steve, going back for more buckets of dirt. | Spent all day scrubbing rocks. It rained the entire time; however, the flumes were covered so we stayed dry. We found all kinds of stones and had a relaxing and fun time.

21: On the ride up the mountain, to see all the waterfalls, it was just beautiful. The road was so winding, with no where to pull over and a huge drop off - Steve was an excellent driver!

31: Oops, we went down the wrong side of the mountain, but got to see another water fall. Steve wasn't thrilled, 26 miles down with no where to turn around. | What happened to your hair???
