100: Cody and Elise went to check-in to the Rodeway Inn at 3:00pm but it took until 6:00pm to get a clean room with two beds. The woman at the desk was adamant about only allowing four guests to sleep in the room. She eventually left us alone and we were able to shower. Only four people slept in the room but eight of us showered. At 8:00pm she called up to the room and I answered. She accused me of allowing two people to shower who were not spending the night. She told me that the two people who showered needed to go to the office and pay $10 each for the showers. | If she did not get $20 in ten minutes, she threatened to call the police. In an attempt to avoid the police, Scott and I went downstairs with money in hand. As soon as we walked in to the office this lady started yelling at us and threatening to call the police. I asked as calmly as possible if I could see in writing, the $10 per shower policy. She responded in broken English, shouting, “that's my policy, you give me the money, you're trespassing, I’m telling you to pay for the shower, I’m calling the police.” As she went to the phone I threw the $20 bill at her so she wouldn't call the police. Instead of | accepting it and thanking me, she continued to rant and then called the police anyway. Scott called her a bitch and I walked out furious. The police came and went, with only four people in the room when they arrived, we were doing nothing wrong. The officers offered there apologizes for the situation we were in. Realizing I never got a receipt, Cody and I went back to get a receipt. Cody spent twenty minutes asking to see the shower policy. She was calm and never raised her voice. The lady responded to Cody’s calm nature by screaming in her face, never giving us close to a response to the question I could | not take this woman any longer. As I walked out of the office I stuck my middle finger up and yelled, “Fuck you!” to her! What a crazy bitch! Steven, Cody, Scott, Molly and I slept in the van in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
