Dear Jack, Things at my camp haven't been good lately; you see since you guys killed Piggy and took Samneric I've been all on my own trying to heal my wounds. The one thing I'm afraid of, Jack, is that we'll all die without being rescued, if we ever get rescued. You need to stop being savage and crazy for five seconds if we are to have any hope of being rescued. You need to make a fire with those glasses so we can be rescued; otherwise stealing them was a waste of your time and energy. Piggy fought through his ass-mar to come to your camp and ask nicely for his glasses back, but what he got in return for that effort was unfair. I hope you can at least use his glasses for something good, and not just for your own selfish purposes. That would make the situation worse and the death of Piggy completely useless. My camp is completely empty except for me; I haven't got anybody to help me keep the shelters up and the coconuts full, let alone a fire going. I really hope you take this advice and get us rescued. -Ralph

Dear Auntie, We are stuck on an island with nobody else around, we have a chief, we have plenty of food and water, but it's still not home. My asthma is really bad when I have to walk anywhere because it's a tropical island. There is a boy here, his name is Jack, he doesn't like me much and I'm afraid he's going to become chief, which would be bad for all of us. Jack doesn't care about anybody but himself and killing pigs, he doesn't care about being rescued or getting home. Our chief, Ralph, does care about being rescued though; he keeps a fire going most of the time to make sure that if a ship or plane goes by we'll be rescued. Ralph cares as much about getting us all home than he does about surviving. I can't wait to get home and ear some of your candies. -Piggy

Gone far too soon from this earth is 12-year-old Simon Renalds. Young Simon was born just outside of the city of Hampshire, and then moved to London were he spent his years of elementary school. He and his family then moved to Manchester where Simon attended Croyden Military Academy for Young Boys. His parents say one of his favorite activities was to wander around outside looking for bugs. Simon used to suffer from frequent epileptic episodes. Simon was brutally beaten by the members of | the opposing tribe; his body has not been recovered because it was taken away with the tide. Simon is survived by his parents and two siblings. The boys that were rescued from the island say that Simon’s death was a mistake and that they were scared of a beast that was reported to have been seen on the island. No funeral has been scheduled for Simon and will be announced in this very paper when it has been finalized. | Simon Renalds: | 1945 - 1957

Age 12; Described as a reasonable and clever boy by not only his relatives but also by his teachers, Joseph lived in London for seven years of his short life where he attended Bellermine Elementary. He lives with his Aunt Ida Chapman who is a well-respected member of the community where her candies shop is located. They moved to Manchester when he was seven years old where he then attended Croyden Military Academy for Young Boys. | Joseph often enjoyed sitting at his aunt’s candy counter and eating all sorts of fine treats. Joseph was run down by rock that was launched by the conflicting tribe on the island; his body has not been recovered from the ocean where it drifted to after the young boy was heartlessly killed. He is survived by his aunt and two cousins. His aunt will be holding memorial service this coming Sunday at Croyden Military Academy for Young Boys. | Joseph "Piggy" Chapman: | 1945-1957

Just in boys from missing from Croyden Military Academy for Young Boys found after two months of being stranded on a deserted tropical island. They were found by a naval ship just off the coast of Madagascar, Africa. The officer says the boys were ragged looking and most seemed to have turned completely savage, complete with war paint and dirt upon their faces. When the officer asked how many killed they replied, “Only two. And they’ve gone.” This act of nonchalance leads the | officer to believe it was them who killed to two boys that are now missing from the island. The names of those two boys who were killed are Simon Renalds and Joseph “Piggy” Chapman. They were said to be good boys who followed all the rules established by group-elected leader Ralph Arkwright. During a recent interview Arkwright told the Island Chronicles that he was elected the leader but “Jack made things fall apart”, referring to Jack Merridew the leader of an opposing tribe on the island that was created after much | bickering about the priorities of the tribe. Through further questioning and investigation of the incidents on the island surrounding the deaths of the young boys Merridew was found to be the mastermind behind both murders and is now serving time in the city of London juvenile penitentiary where he will serve time until his eighteenth birthday, at which time he will moved to the local prison where he will serve twenty more years. The severity of his punishment was lowered due to his age and the fact that he did not act alone

Island Chronicles | in these crimes. The rest of the children that have been rescued from the island are going through intensive psychotherapy to help them cope with the events and they hope to return to a normal life. | Above: Jack Merridew, the young man convicted in the case of the death of the two boys on the island.
