1: is a monosthetic relgion, where they believe in one god, to the jewish people. Originated from the Hebrew bible, the Tanakh. an example is some people believe in David. | JUDAISM

2: Christianity: : a religion based on the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, on his beliefs and practices. people that believe in Jesus Christ go to church.

3: Islam: religion to the muslims, from Mohammed and the Prophet of Allah. | Zionism: a movement and reestablishment and now the development and also the protection of the jewish nation.

4: Jihad: a struggle against nonbelievers. people that don't believe in Islamic culture.

5: Arab: relation to the people of Arabia. People that are arabian are from arabia.

6: Sunni: 1 of the 2 main branches of islam.

7: Shiite: a religious branch of islam. example is that there's been a lot of conflict from it in the Middle East

8: OPEC: Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, that stands for OPEC.

9: Ramadan: the 9th month of the Muslim year which people fast all day long.

10: Yom Kippur: a religious fast of the Jewish year that lasts up to 10 days. during that time people would kind of celebrate the days.

11: Palestinian: the Palestine people.

12: Taliban: a muslim movement that took a lot of control of Afghanistan from 1995.

13: al Qaeda: international terrorist organization that started in the 1980’s to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan.

14: PLO: Palestine Liberation Orginization

15: Hamas: a Palestinian movement founded in 1987 that opposes peace with Israel and uses terrorism as weapons, and make an Islamic state in Israel.

17: Intifada: a Palestinian uprising against Israel.

18: Synagogue: an Islamic Place of Worship

19: Mosque: a muslim place to worship.

20: Terrorism: using violence to intimidate people of a political aim. | Fundamentalism: a strict interpretation of the bible.

21: Bedouin: a member of a nomadic tribe of the Arabs.
