1: 13 days of
3: In the bus by 6am...sleepy minds but chirpy hearts on a Sunday morning. We are ready for our first extended family trip to Taiwan. I secretly remind myself be patient with the boys ... fingers xxx. | Evan all bundled up on arrival in Taipei
4: Day 1: Upon our arrival, we drove towards Hsinchu, strolled along the suspension bridge and walked through the Neiwan Old Street.
5: Visited the temple and had our first taste of local delights. Hsinchu is known for their vermicelli and noodles. They were the most QQ ones we ever tasted.
6: Day 2: First stop.. at the famous Sun Moon Lake. Our own private boat... | Did we actually hop onto Eugene's private boat?
7: At 748m above sea level, its Taiwan's largest natural lake.
8: After lunch, we headed towards Nantou - Formsan Aboriginal Cultural Village where we were exposed to different tribes. Strangely, there was also a theme park, so guess who had fun here? | Naruwan tribe | this was truly an exhilarating ride

10: Basketball is always a must....& Evan here with cartoon props
11: We were all excited to check into the Swiss Resort in Qingjing. This was the largest room cum Luxurious honeymoon suite. Dinner was filled with their fresh local produce. Yumz.

13: At 1,600m above sea level, the mountain air was fresh and the views simply amazing. Although the temperatures were dipping, nobody complained.
14: Day 3 : QingJing farm. Spot the handsome dude(s).
16: Feeding the sheep was fun. Good job boys.
19: Ethan's foot was trampled on by the sheep, and all he did was scream in silence. Usual.
21: At the Swiss Garden where everything is Eco-friendly
22: Lunch pit stop at the Myanmar-Taiwan restaurant where the Taiwan military soldiers ate during the World War. Ethan ordered 2nd plate of doufu. Declared he ate more than 30pcs | The famous 7-11 outlet that is 2050m above sea level.
23: The Old England where we all had a full hi-tea set right after a packed lunch.... Love the decor

26: Day 4 : we set out for Kaohsiung Aside from ipad and iphones, this is the other way the boys survived long drives. We visited EDA themepark & outlet mall.... the boys probably didn't know where to start | loo stop | coffee stop | lucky stop

29: Yeye was totally zapped out | Ethan hit 9 out of 10 shots to win this EDA mascot for Evan
30: Those with raincoats were shielded ...Yeye and Papa ended up drenched
31: Hakka 'Eat all you can' dinner (oh there was so much food...) and then a stroll along the famous Liu He night market before we headed to hotel. | love these white bitter gourds, fried with salty eggs
