2: June 3, 2011 - I can't sleep I'm so excited. The plane is very cool. For the first time in my life I had steak on a plane - it was AWESOME! I can't wait to tour places I have wanted to go to since I have learned about them. The scenery from my window in the plane is beautiful. Pilar and I are laughing up a storm. We are having such a great time with Nan and Daddy Bob!
3: After we went through customs, we met our tour guide who gave us lots of great information on Istanbul. Our hotel, The Eresin, is one of the only hotels with a museum in it. We ate lunch at The Green House. During the day, we could hear the call to prayer. It is so cool to be in Istanbul with Nan, Daddy Bob and Pilar! | June 4, 2011 - Istanbul, Turkey

5: After breakfast, we met our tour guide Muge. First, we went to Topkapi Palace, which was full of old, beautiful relics. Then we toured the Sultanahamet Mosque, or the Blue Mosque. The inside was very detailed. There were low chandeliers and beautiful domes and tiles. | Topkapi Palace | Topkapi Palace
6: Cruising on the Bosphorous - Enjoying the Sun and Water on Two Continents! | Istanbul | A Great Bazaar with Lots of Fabulous Treasures | We have arrived in Asia!
7: Bizzare | ASIA | The Hagia Sophia | After lunch we went to the Hagia Sophia. The main dome was colossal. The mosaics were very interesting. Then we went to the Yerebafan Cistern.
8: The Seabourn Odyssey | During the afternoon of June 6th, we went to the harbor to get on the Odyssey. We went up to the desks where they took pictures for our port IDs. At 4:15 pm, we had a life boat drill where we learned how to use our life jackets. When we were ready to depart, Nan, Pilar, Daddy Bob, and I went to the bow. For dinner we went to the Colonnade. The food was great. After dinner, we went to the club to dance. We were definitely rocking the boat.
10: On June 8, 2011, we went to the city of Ephesus. When we got off of the ship, we met our great guide Erol. First we visited the ruins. We saw the baths, two amphitheaters and the library.

14: When we docked in Rhodes, we went on a tour that showed us many highlights of this ancient city.
15: On Mykonos, we went to a beach resort. The water was so calm, I could skip rocks. We toured the beautiful harbor and town! | We had a sun filled day in Mykonos, Greece. A very beautiful island.

17: In Rhodes we went to a local restaurant for cooking lessons. We made Moussaka, Tzatziki, village salad and meatballs. After we ate, we were dropped off at the harbor where we saw the site of Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
18: On June 11th, we toured Patmos. We went to the Cave of the Apocolypse. We saw where Paul slept and dictated Revelation! | The Monastery of St. Paul
19: After we saw the cave, we went to a very old mansion. Then we toured the Monastery of St. Paul.

22: Milos Greece is a wonderful island full of surprises, charms and beauties. It is one of the most beautiful Greek Islands and it is mostly known for the statue Venus of Milo (Aphrodite) and its rich natural resources. The island is unique for its astonishing lunar landscape which create unbelievable and imposing rocky formations colored in deep red, brown or glimmering white.
25: We concluded our wonderful trip in the capitol of Greece - Athens. Daddy Bob and I toured the ancient sites around the city. The citizens were rioting outside our hotel - an exciting ending to our fabulous trip! | An Ancient Temple for a Lesser Deity | The Riots Outside our Hotel!
