1: The Adventure Begins...
2: Decided to take the "shortcut" to the airport in Wichita, Kansas. How were we to know there was road construction and we would have to take a dirt road to get where we needed to be! | We met up in Chicago with the groups from Ocala and Kansas City

5: Holiday Inn | After a quick night, we set out for a tour of the area

10: Taking a ride on a rickshaw through the oldest parts of the city called the hutong.
11: We learned about the layout and history of this traditional courtyard home. | Grandpa who bought this home located in the hutong in the 1940's is still living here with his family
12: The streets had many interesting sights and sounds. We drove by the Bird's Nest, the Bubble and other buildings used in the 2008 Olympics | A trip to Beijing would not be complete without a meal of Peking Duck.
13: The Legend of Kung Fu | We were exhausted and each of us slept through some portion of this very interesting and entertaining show...jet lag is hard to fight!

35: Different classes and individuals performed in the closing ceremony. It was great to see how much the students' English had improved in just 8 days of conversation.
