Weather If you are going to Boston during the Winter you want to pack for cold weather. During the Winter the temperatures average in the 20's The first freeze there is usually in November. They have many theaters and museums that people go to . Boston is an old city so some of the buildings there are very old. There are also multiple orchestras that people in Boston can go to watch. |

Journal #1 On my trip to Boston I saw many historical sites. On the first day there I wanted to go to a Boston Celtics game. I went during the Winter just to see it. I also wanted to see how much snow they got there compared to how much we had. They had a few inches of snow when I got there. I also went to Paul Revere's old house on the first day. It was cool seeing how old it was and having it still standing. |

Journal #2 On my second day in Boston I wanted to walk the Freedom Trail. It was very interesting seeing all of the historical buildings. I learned a lot from going on that tour. The tour took most of the day and it was really cold outside so I decide to go back to my hotel and relax the rest of the day. |

Journal #3 On my third day to Boston I decided to go to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. THey were very good. It was a new experience because there are not many orchestras around here. I also went to the WIlbur Theater and saw a comedian perform.. He was very funny. |

Journal #4 On my last day in Boston I decided to go to some of the museums. I went to the Fine Art Museum and the Museum of Science. I also went to visit The Public Garden before I left because I heard it was a historical place. The garden was made established in 1837. |

Compare and Contrast Boston is a much older city than Overland Park. There are more historical sites there compared to Overland Park too. We are not near any oceans but Boston is surrounded by water on three sides. Boston gets a lot of snow because they are in the north and we get a normal amount of snow. Boston is also in the northeast but Overland Park is in the Midwest. |

Cause and Effect This journey has had a great impact on my life. I have been able to see more historical sites. I have also learned a lot about our country's history. There were many different experiences there. It was also a different atmosphere where I was near the ocean and it was colder there than it is here during the Winter.

Conclusion I have found out that Boston is an interesting and historical city. I had many new experiences going there. I have also learned a lot of new things. With all the history from the American Revolution time period that is there I can see why " it is sometimes called the birthplace of the American Revolution."
