FC: A Trip to New Orleans By: Jummon Rahaman |

1: New Orleans is located in Louisiana. New Orleans is all about Music, Food, and Architecture not just one day but all year around, and that is what makes New Orleans different than any other cities. New Orleans is a great place to stay so plan a trip and booked in.

2: The People that inhabited early New Orleans came from many groups including Native American, French, African, and Caribbean Islands. No group was dominant in the early days and there was a great mixing of cultures. The mixing of cultures was unique that influenced the food, music, architecture, and languages. New Orleans is the most unique city with its multicultural. |

8: The coldest time of the year is January with the temperature in the mid 40s, and the warmest is in July with the temperature in the 90s. June is one of the rainiest months. The best time to travel is in the fall. If you are visiting around winter you would need layers of clothes other than that pack normal clothes. | Climate |

9: Culture Awareness | Languages spoken in New Orleans are French, Spanish, and German. From all the mixed cultures there some really good food like Gumbo, Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice, and much more . |

10: New Orleans is the home of the Saints. Most of the city is dirty from all the bars and clubs. When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, it was a disaster. When the hurricane was done its was difficult to get things done but what was done was the littering was all cleaned up also all the trash before Katrina hit. |

11: When my dad and I visit New Orleans, the first thing we went was to our hotel, The Monteleone. Once we got suited, we went to get something to eat. We ate a traditional brunch at Antoine's. It was really good. I had some Jambalaya while my dad had Catfish Etouffee. After we ate, we went to some festivals. They were really fun. When the festivals were over, we went to the Audubon Aquarium. It was really cool. We got tired after a while and went back to the hotel and fell asleep. | | | Journal #1

12: I have already been to New Orleans once and it was really fun. I decided to visit New Orleans again. This time my dad and I stayed at the Windsor Court Hotel. It was really fancy We did out door stuff this time like fishing, bowling, a movie, golfing, and went to the park. Fishing was fun, I caught some fish and my dad caught a couple. we didn't keep them. We went to the park and had a picnic after fishing. After the park, we went bowling. But the movie was great. We felt like going back to the hotel to relax after the movie so we did. 15: New Orleans was a good thing researching about. It is a place that you can visit and not get bored of because it is really fun. If you haven't been to New Orleans yet my advice to you is plan a trip and see how fun it is just to visit a place you haven't been to before. | | Conclusion
