Journal entry #1 | I woke up on the day may 21st, 2015 it was about 7:30 a.m in overland Park Kansas City and my plane for Los Angeles was scheduled to leave at 10:30. I had called a cab to come and pick me up so i wouldn't have to leave my car at the KCI airport . Once my cab came we went straight to the airport and it took about thirty or forty minutes to get there. When i arrived at the airport i checked my bags in and then went to go to wait at my gate. By the time i had gotten by my gate i was hungry and it was about 9 o'clock so i went to go get a cinnamon roll and a coffee. Time past and it was time for me to bored my plane. When we were cleared to take flight the flight attendant told all the passengers about the emergency exits and also that it would be a four hour flight. When i was on the plane i fell asleep and as soon as i knew it we landed in Los Angeles.

Journal entry #2 | Once I had landed in Los Angeles I went to baggage claim to get my bags. Once I had gotten my bags I called a cab to take me to the Ritz-Carlton which is in downtown LA.When the taxi driver dropped me off, I went inside to check and my room was all the way on the top floor with an amazing view of the city. Once i was settled in it was around three p.m and i was going to go to a Los Angeles Clippers v. Los Angeles Lakers game at seven. The game that I was going to against them both was game seven in the western conference finals. I didn't know what to do for the next three hours so I fell asleep. When I woke up it was 6:15 p.m. Once I left the hotel it was around 6:30 and it didn't take that long to get to the Staples center so I just walked there. When i had gotten there, there was a huge line to get inside. I had finally got inside and the game was about to start. I was sitting court side and it was pretty fun to watch Chris Paul and Blake Griffin play When the game started the Clippers started out with the ball and up from then it was just a blow out with ally-opp and all the threes the Jamal Crawford was hitting. when the game ended the final score was 150 to 90 the Clippers won and advanced too the NBA finals. When the game ended i had walked back o my hotel to sleep.

Journal entry #3 | The next day I wanted to go to the beach, but before I went I went to go get something to eat. After I was done eating I went to the beach. When i got there it was packed with a lot of people so I decided to do something else. When I was looking for things to do i found Starline Hollywood tours. The tour was a two-hour sight-seeing different celebrities houses. I wanted to buy the tickets before I went to the tour because it was cheaper than buying the tickets at the booth. When I bought the tickets I took a cab to where the tours started. When i had gotten there they were just boarding so I got there right in time. When I got on the bus we were ready to go so the bus took off. The tour was showing a lot of different celebrities houses and it was pretty cool! When the tour was i was hungry and I wanted some BBQ and I also wanted to listen to music. I decided to go to the House Of Blues. When i got there they were already playing music so i got a table and ordered some ribs and listened to the music while I was waiting. Later on my ribs came and they were really good. When i was done eating and listening to the music I went back to my hotel. When I got there I was really exhausted so I went straight to bed.

AUSTRALIA | Journal entry #4 | When I woke up I realized that this was my last day in Los Angeles. My plane was until 10 p.m so I wanted to see some art in Los Angeles. I heard about the Los Angeles County museum of art and they said it was really good. When I had gotten there I already saw some amazing art, but these were amazing. The paintings and other stuff represented the history, geography, and LA's unique diverse popularity. When I was done at the museum I wanted to try and go back to the beach. When i got there it wasn't packed. While I was at the beach I found some seashells and I went in the ocean. When I was done at the beach I went back to my hotel to pack, get ready, and check out before i left. When I was checking out I called a cab to pick me up and it was ready once I was done. When the cab picked me up I was kinda sad that I had to leave Los Angeles, but I was going home. When the cab dropped me off it was about 8:30 p.m so I had to hurry. I checked my bags in and then went to my gate and i was right on time for my plane. When I boarded the plane it was really dark outside so I fell asleep real fast. I woke up half way through the plane trip and i got a Coke to drink. When I was done doing that I got on my phone to play some angry birds. The rest of the trip back I played it and I beat the whole game. When the plane landed I was happy except it was like 1 a.m so I was tired. When I had got back home I was thankful that I got to go on the trip and then I pasted out.

Compare and Contrast | Both Overland Park and Los Angeles have a large population, although Los Angeles has two NBA teams Overland Park has none. Also both Los Angeles and Overland Park have a MLB team. Although Los Angeles have beaches Overland Park have lakes and rivers

A major journey in my life was being adopted, for me being adopted has many things to it since I haven't met my real parents. Even though I am adopted my adopted family has been there for me over my years with them as their son and as their brother too. I've always wanted too meet my real family, but i have don't really have their information on where they live now. Even though I am adopted I am blessed with having my family that I do have right now. | Cause and effect
