14: An amazing day in Cozumel.... We decided no excursions in Cozumel, which meant getting off the pier on our own. We set off in the wrong direction, found very local flavors in a residential area before finding the shops. "Come in, just for the hell of it! Almost free today," storekeepers promised. At Woody's we learned of a beach within walking distance, Cerveza Sol. A Mexican family came and swam and collected shells for us. If we return, we'll take a moped across the island, to see what we can see!

NOT!

19: It could have been us... Wyneek and I have always wanted to take a Mediterranean Cruise. Our 25th anniversaries came and went, so we suggested our 50th birthdays. January 15 is her birthday; January 18 our anniversary. Costa is owned by Carnival, so we would have been past cruisers. If Joe hadn't been scheduled for surgery on 1/18, we could have been on the Costa ship that hit rock and sunk on January 13, 2012.

20: This and That

21: January 18, 2012, 26 year anniversary "And you're still talking? (Athikom, a.k.a. Jose')
