The Corer Museum is not part of the tour, but it is worth a visit. The sculptor Canova is well represented , and it is on the square.

From the Rick Steve's Guide Book, we found this excellent restaurant not far from the square. The prices are modest, and the signs...

 ...unique.

The flavor of Venice reminds of the feeling of New Orleans.

Donato and some of the group

A picture in Umbria on the way to Rome. The picture takes itself

Our wine tasting host with Donato.

Lunch with wine was quite an unexpected treat

Donato has told us the story of Rome from Aeneas to Romulus and beyond on the bus from Umbria. Now we will explore the city.

 This beautiful piece has...

 a surprise inside the vase.

 Santa Maria della Vittoria

Gian Lorenzo Bernini - Saint Theresa. Pictures cannot be taken in most Italian museums, but can be in most churches. The work of Bernini seen in person is worth the whole trip

Our local guide in Rome with Donato.

Ear buds are provided with tours when needed and enhance the lectures.

Pines (or are they cedars) of Rome and perfect weather.

From the top of Victor Emmanuel Monument

The group at last evening's dinner.

Donato said that tossing a coin into the Trevi Fountain will make you return to Rome. I asked him if he had change for a 10 cent piece
