Warming up cold days ... in Paris - Page Text Content

FC: Paris | in | Warming up | cold days

1: one cold December morning with snow and nippy winds ... Bob and I pursued our moment together in | Paris

2: Hotel du Printemps | 12 th Arrondisement | A lovely boutique hotel in a safe and beautiful neighborhood; a few minutes away from Paris via the Metro or Picpus Stations.

4: we had a tiny superior room on the fourth floor which easily was filled up by our two massive luggage; the cozy room was an instant warmer, as BOB and I squeezed our way around. the wooden headboard and armoire added a very strong French feel to the setting making our vacay a real Parisian experience. overall, the amenities enjoyed were gifts of luxury beyond what we deserve, and we are indeed grateful!

6: Picpus Station | The French metro is one of the most efficient transportation systems in the world ... it was intimidating to use it the first time, even got lost in our initial ride en route back to the hotel, but our moments in the Metro were filled with a lot of "MICHAEL" encounters ... you see, i believe that the Lord sent us angels to guide us in the new routes we took while on our trip. and the kind "strangers" who showed us the right directions were considered in my heart as "Godsend" Michaels, as in the archangel .... may sound weird, but really, there were a lot of compassionate strangers who were too willing to help ... a most awesome reality of God's amazing grace!

8: La Tour Eiffel is 121 years old ... my only regret is not seeing it at night ... would have been magical!

9: it was one wintry cold 2nd of december, and our hectic itinerary was catching up on me ... the infamous tower blazed by without much umph, and i am so regretting it ... our late out made us miss the BATEAU-MOUCHE cruise on the River Seine ... and all i desired that day was crawl inside the warm duvet and sleep to my heart's content. but i praise God, that despite all things missed, the gift was such a blessing beyond what Bob and I deserve ... praise God, indeed! | taking the Eiffel seriously! | bob +alliet+Paris = LOVE | with a new found friend!
