2: After our plane arrived we took the train and then the Metro to the Arbat, a street lined with shops, restaurants and coffee houses. On a Friday night it was full of people and street performers. | ARBAT
3: Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building One of 7 buildings in Moscow called the Seven Sisters. These were designed by Stalin to rival US skyscrapers.
5: Tushina Church The conference was held in a church which was formerly a cultural center. About 140 pastors and worship arts leaders from all over Russia met to share ideas, attend Master Classes and to worship together.

7: Inside the Kremlin Wall | After spending Monday working to set up rooms for the conference, we spent Tuesday in the Kremlin and Red Square.

12: We ate lunch at a restaurant here at GUM in a building where, during the Soviet Era, people stood in long lines to buy food. | This building has now been converted into a beautiful mall with many high-end clothing and jewelry stores. | GUM former State Department Store Building, now an upscale mall.

14: The art team got to work immediately building a 12 foot cross, painting it with beautiful leaves and vines. Later in the conference a mosaic of broken ceramic tile was added. | Each member of the team, from the teachers to the artists, worked hard to make the conference an encouragement and learning experience for the participants.

17: After the last night of the conference we had a celebration "hall party" about 11 pm. Special thank you gifts were presented to the Russian team..... Western shirts from Austin.
18: Our team led two worship songs and Gary spoke. After church we had a delicious dinner and discussion with our Russian friends.
19: I returned to Istra for the first time in 15 years. On my first trip I stood on the foundation of this church and we prayed for God's blessing! | ISTRA

21: We spent our last day in Moscow on the Arbat, shopping, drinking coffee and greeting friends. Dinner was on the New Arbat at Chili's | ARBAT
