4: Timing Is Everything... On August 18, 2007, Paige and long time friend & roommate Courtney Hawbaker made their way to Fargo, getting ready to move into a new apartment to start the school year. Upon arrival, they were introduced by a former tenant to a young man from Stanley, ND named Brian Uran. The girls were impressed by the friendly nature of Brian, and were happy to have a couple guys from the NW corner of the state around. The school year went by and they had developed great friendships with the Uran boys next door. The guys held a spare key for each time the girls managed to lock themselves out of their apartment and were always around to help out when they needed a handyman. That next July, the girls got a phone call from Brian saying that he was moving out of the apartment at 1019 College Street and back to Stanley. They thought they wouldn't see much of him after that, but when the state fair rolled around that year, Brian called Paige to hang out & the rest is history. They have built a relationship that will ensure that they live...
10: -The Talk- It was December 31, 2010 and Brian was on a mission. Not only was he up talking with Paige's Dad and Uncle Kent about buying a tractor, he was trying to have "the talk" with Butch. Knowing Butch is not an easy guy to get a hold of, Brian wanted to get it over with, so he asked Butch for his permission to marry Paige in front of Kent. Butch told him "That's up to Paige" and commended him on his courage to ask in front of her uncle.
11: -The Magic Moment- Paige was going home to her parents place on January 20, 2011, but Brian wanted her to stop by Stanley. He found a pick up for Paige to look at since she was in the market for a different vehicle. They went to look at the pickup and from there Brian told Paige that he wanted to grab a bite to eat up town. They drove toward Main Street & parked on a side street near the cafe. Paige quickly started on her way because it was such a cold night. She got a few steps ahead of Brian and he said, "Paige, check out the movie this week!" She looked up to see a marquee that read "Paige Will You Marry Me?" She turned around he was on his knee with the ring and replied "WHAT?!". She never did remember to say yes, but she grabbed the ring and didn't stop giggling.
