*ceetees* Just look at 'em. Fantastic. | And here's me shortly after, in my raggedy travel clothes. Fabindia kurta and jeans in such glitzy company. Sheesh. | Samir and Yasin... and a little bit of Febi. | Here's me on stage at the reception in suitable mithai pink clothes. 'Colour-colour-which-colour' is also a phrase that comes to mind when seeing this attire. But it was okay. Merged with the rest.
I LOVE this pic! Febi's Ma took it. *warm glow* (Boomsa, shield your eyes, there's a lot of pink happening in here.;) | See the multi-layered cake, the rose petals strewn about artistically and the totally wonderful effect? Thanks, I helped in this bit of the proceedings. Febi's Ma, Lisa and I arranged the cake layer by layer and then killed some roses and strew their remains about to create a romantic ambiance. | Still at it... | Reception night. Febi adjusts the bouquet by 0.8 cm.
Febi and I (in what appears to be mid-grimace...) See? Black IS beautiful! | Febi, her very nice mom-in-law whom I got along with famously (I took down her postal address and intend to shock her with my letters), and sweet sis -in-law. Plus childrunns. | Awwwwwww. Febi and Samir at the end of a long, tiring night. MashaAllah!
Febi, Yasin and supermom Sheila Auntieeeee. | Febi and Yasin. Hanging out. | This pretty little thang was only so high when I saw her ages ago at Febi's wedding. *wipes tears* How the years go by....
That's right. You show 'em! | A job well done. Febi preens after packing 4587 wedding gifts, clothes and things. | Febi and the ladies perform Hindi-fillum synchronised dance dhamaaka.
Standing ovation for the Safar family, plus Febi's fantastic hubby, Mr Samir Rahman (extremely second from left). L-R: Yasin, Samir, Febi, Thalib, Safar Uncle, Sheila Auntie, Thariq the brat
Febi and her lovely cousin, Lisa. | Febi and her cousin Shukur Black is beautiful etc.
