11: Founders' Day Community Service Project - Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) Program Initiative Program designed to impact the lives of girls in grades 6th - 8th by providing leadership development, civic engagement, enhanced academic preparation and character building. Alpha Xi Omega Chapter is partnering with Sarah Zumwalt Middle School where one of our chapter members is the Principal.

12: Synchronized Solidarity Walk for Emotional, Spiritual and Physical Healing Participated in the synchronized walk which occurred simultaneously around the world on Saturday, June 26, 2010.

13: Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes The American Diabetes Association works everyday to change the frightening future that diabetes has in store. Volunteered during our local "Step Out" event.

14: Alpha Xi Omega Chapter "Pink Pick-Up" Partnered with th National Kidney Foundation, Inc. donating household and clothing items that will help fight kidney disease in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

16: Bowl-A-Thon Scholarship Fundraiser Alpha Xi Omega Chapter's 15th Annual "Ivy Bowl-A-Thon", our signature fundraiser which supports Alpha Key Alliance, our Scholarship Foundation.

17: Undergraduate Mentorship Karen serves as Co-Advisor and Graduate Council Member Participated in National Pan Hellenic Forum as co-advisor for Kappa Mu Chapter at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. The NPHC promotes the well-being of its affiliate fraternities and sororities, facilitates the establishment and development of local councils of the NPHC and provides leadership training for its constituents.

18: Supported Kappa Mu Chapter's "AKA Week" during their "pillow talk" forum. The purpose of the forum is to foster healthy discussions with the diverse student population on campus dealing with matters of mutual concern.
