1: Darien Imaging Center | We work hard, but we squeeze in some fun too.

3: Halloween Fun Even the patients enjoy it when we dress up

4: There were some weddings: | Karen and Bill in May | Wes and Bob in August

6: Opportunities to be with family: Dan Chinitz's Bar Mitzvah and Uncle Morty's Memorial | Lois, Art and Sybil

7: ...and friends | Jan & Sasha | Chief | Ajay, Tejas and Minu

8: The annual summer picnic at Dorothy and Ron's | The salads are always exquisite

9: After the food came the music | The jigsaw puzzle assembly went on all night

10: The kitties rule | Rocky & Rusty take over the bed | Ed does not like cats as you can see

11: Ed refinished the floor upstairs | Before < | After

12: We went to New Orleans in February just before Mardi Gras | Ed attended a conference, Beth saw the sights. There were silver and gold men

13: Our hotel, Villa Convento, and a view down the street | This mule was taking a break. Beth asked him if he wanted his ears scratched and he lowered his head so she could reach them. Really.

14: Views of the Convent from our hotel balcony | And you can get Huge Ass Beer on Bourbon Street

15: There was a police funeral and the street was filled with blue motorcycles and blue uniforms

16: The streets were hosed down in the early morning | Painted trollies all over town | Parade float

17: City Sights French Quarter Balconies | St. Louis Cathedral | Cafe du Monde, where Beth ate too many beignets.

19: Houses seen on the garden tour | The Wedding Cake House

20: 9th Ward: Rebuilding after Katrina | Fats Domino's House

21: Self sustaining homes | A commemorative sculpture

22: Plantation visit After Ed's conference, we did some touring together

23: Boat ride in the Bayou

24: It was very peaceful; it was hard to believe that Katrina had torn through here.

25: We were up close and personal with the alligators

26: In April we stayed at the Saugerties Lighthouse in the Hudson River.

27: Patrick, the lighthouse keeper, made fabulous vegan pancakes for breakfast.

28: The PDSA Conference was in Orlando this year | Jamie and Caroline | Joan and Barbara spoke | Joan's book signing

29: Beth, Ed, Jamie | Victoria | Will and Judy | Karen, Beth, Susan

30: After the conference we went to Universal Studios with Jamie. Ed and Jamie rode this crazy Hulk. Beth stayed on the ground.

31: We rode the elevated train in Zeussville | and found Bliss Street

32: Etana came to Orlando, too. | The album would not be complete without trains. | Little lizard

33: Walkway Over the Hudson | Ed and Dana went on opening day

34: Ed went on a bike trip on the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal

35: The trip was about 7 days long and they saw a lot of pretty scenery

37: Atlantic City | We took the train down and spent a day in the fall.

38: A groundhog made her home under our deck. We enjoyed watching her go back & forth to gather hay for the nest. | We also enjoyed a large variety of flowers throughout the spring and summer.

39: There was some beautiful snow

40: In August, we went to help Tova and Jason assemble the crib for their first child, due any day...

41: Zoe Marsha Appleson arrived on September 2, 2009 This made us GRANDPARENTS

44: Watching her grow and change so quickly was amazing.

45: The Stroffolino and RR swing bridges opening for a boat. | Tim Shields at work

46: Great Neck South Class of '69 40th Reunion Committee | We planned for over a year, meeting over some wonderful lunches at each of our homes. Once Chrissy Psomas visited from Seattle.

47: Some months before before the actual reunion, Donny Vaccino had an art show opening in Fairfield, CT. A small group attended this mini-reunion.

48: The reunion took place on Nov. 9th. There was a gathering the evening before, a tour of the school in the afternoon and the big evening bash.
