2010 What a fabulous year! Cason started Kindergarten. James started driving a bus. Kendra started back to college. Carter adjusted to his brother being at kindergarten and spent a whole lot of time with Evan. We finished off the year by driving to Florida and spending our Christmas holiday in Disney World. We have wonderful friends and family who have helped make precious memories this year. Praise God for all the blessings in our life!
SnOw! We finally got some snow! Now we can wear the scarves Grammy made.
The boys helped daddy to make their first snowman. We had to get creative for his face so we had oreo eyes and a twizzler mouth.

In these pictures they are eating olympic torch cupcakes.

Our celebration with friends was a party after small groups with our closest friends and some Spiderman cake. We are so thankful for you. You are such a blessing.
Who's ready for a little yard work? | Our yard was in desperate need of some TLC. James rented a stump grinder to get rid of the stumps from the 6 trees we had had cut down earlier in the year. James spent a hard days work making very large holes in the backyard that the boys played in. This was all in preperation for working on a kid friendly side for the boys to play on.
Birthday Celebration in Gatesville! | Aunt Laura, YOU ROCK! Thanks for teh best cakes ever.
eating cake and opening presents.... what's better than that?
We went camping during spring break with our precious McCulley friends. We had a huge spot with lots of room to run. We brought all kinds of bugs and guns to play with. We were enjoying the weather and then it turned brutally cold! But as all good campers do, we rolled with it and it made for some great memories.
BURRRRR...... It's really cold today...so thankful for tarps, coffee, covers, and portable DVD players.

EMILY'S SENIOR YEAR Since it was Emily's senior year we tried to go to everything we could for her. Then one day this summer she came down and spent the day with us eating and shopping for her new apartment. It was a lot of fun.
A day in the bluebonnet field with Rylan and "baby" Kason
 BIKE DAY at preschool

 Think Orange | Family Retreat
This is rehearsal for the Bright Beginnings spring program and graduation.
Way to go, Carter. You sang your little heart out on the first song. We were very proud of you. For the second song you picked your nose(the entire song). But we were still proud of you. You're awesome!
Cason, you did such a fabulous job. You sang every song and did all the hand motions. You made us very proud. This was your last Bright Beginnings performance. We love you so much.
PRESCHOOL GRADUATION | It is unbelievable how quickly time has gone. You completed four years at BBP and now you're off to Kindergarten.
You, Ella, and Rylan The three of you are such wonderful friends. It's so fun to watch you all grow up together. We are so thankful that God placed our families together.
Balloon swords, clowns, food, animals, and a very long line. | Summer Kick off at the library
Memorial Day at the Dowell's | You two silly boys stayed in the pool for 6 hours minus lunch. You were exhausted!
It's been a tradition for a couple years to go to Greg and Amanda's for memorial day with some other friends and spend the day eating and swimming. We always have a great time with the Dowells.
On a beautiful day we took our bats and balls and went to play at the neighborhood park area. You guys did a great job.
Papa got you a real bat, a left handed glove and a real bat bag for Christmas. We had to try it out.
VBS Our VBS this year was the story of Joseph. We went back in time through a time tunnel to explore the life and times of Joseph.
JULY 4th PARTY at the Dowell's
You did it! | YAY CASON | You're floating | You had already had your swim lessons and you wouldn't do anything for those instructors. But 7 hours in the pool on Jly 3rd and by the end of the day we couldn't get you to stop diving to the bottom of the hot tub or floating on top with your whole face in. YAY!
SURFSIDE Every other summer we go and spend a week at the the beach with the whole Loggins clan.
We got back to the beach house after being at the movies and it looked like it could rain soon so there was no time to waste on changing into swimsuits. You both ran for the water and had a great time splashin' around in your clothes.
Papa worked very hard on his sand turtle and was very protective of the turtle but later when Papa was away you guys killed the turtle.
SEA WORLD! Our first family trip to Sea World. Pepaw and Grammy took us with Drew, Kayla and the kids. We had such a fun day.
The Shamu show was absolutely amazing. We were all in awe of these amazing animals and it was a reminder of the amazing God we serve.
THE SEA LION SHOW | We were so impressed with how these animals could perform in a show to tell a story. | This show had sea lions, otters, and one big walrus.
Acrobat show with Beluga whales and dolphins | Riding rides
Twas the week before school started.... | We let you choose something fun to do on a day before school started. You wanted to go bowling and eat at Schlotzkys. So that's what we did!
End of summer fun We went to an outdoor theatre/park thing in downtown Austin and watched the Biscuit Brothers perform. There were bubbles, balloons, clowns, jugglers, art projects, and rain! It was super fun. I love finding new fun places to go with my favorite little boys.
SLEEPOVER! | One more thing right before school started. We wanted to make sure we got some time to hang out with the Partlow boys so we had a sleepover.
A WHOLE WATER PARK TO OURSELVES! Daddy knew some people at work that were renting out a water park in Killeen and they invited us to join them. There were only aoout 20 families so it was not crowded and made for a very laid back evening.
An UNFORGETTABLE, once in a lifetime opportunity.... | ACLS Game 6 "Rangers Win!"
CASON | KINDERGARTEN! First day of school-you had new clothes to wear for the first two weeks thanks to Minnie and Grammy and Joy. On Friday night of the first week we celebrated with Rylan at Red Robin burgers. You had both had a fun week-you were also both very tired.
You were so excited about starting Kindergarten. We talked about it all summer long and you couldn't wait. We looked at pictures of Mitchell Elementary on the computer and you were most excited that there was a library inside your school. We got a phone call about a week before school started from Mrs. Messersmith (Mrs. M). We had prayed all summer long for the right teacher and God answered our prayers with Mrs. M. We went to Meet the Teacher and you were very shy and hid behind us. So I was nervous that the first day might be hard for you. Mrs. Erin kept Carter while I took you to your first day. You walked right into class and sat down and although you looked a little unsure you didn't cry so I left and I went to breakfast with Mrs. Amanda. The rest of the week I was only allowed to walk you into the gym and on the 2nd day you had a few small tears and didn't want me to go but after that you've been a champ and you are still having a blast at school and you never want to miss. We're super proud of you and very pleased with the whole school experience.
Little kids first days without the big kids. Jungle Java with Hudson and baby Kason
First Day back to Bright Beginnings. Your teacher this year is Mrs. Becky or as you call her, Mrs. Mecky. | Ella was starting her school the same day as you guys started so I picked up Evan early and you guys got to hang out so Ella and Erin could do the first day together.
You wanted to play soccer so we signed you up and you were put on the "grey team". You did great at practice but when we got to the first game you wanted NOTHING to do with it. Daddy made you stand on the field and keep taking steps till you were further out. By the end of the season you were begging to play and running all over that field. You really prefered goalie but you did great everywhere else too. We had so much fun on Saturday mornings watching you play.
 SOCCER! #8
Mrs. Amanda and Aubie even came to a soccer game. They both had fun. Then we all went across the park and watched Sam run her cross country race.
SOCCER from the sidelines | Carter watching Cason play soccer. Carter, you are one great cheerer!
