BC: DECEMBER | This is the first year we celebrated Christmas in Providence. Jay and Ginny had moved to 10th Street and served up the prime rib at their new house! The Phillips clan had come by our house and decorated our tree with Dixie cups :-) | 10th Street | 8th Street
2: January | Ice Skating
3: ice skating made us hungry!! | A trip to Antonio's filled the void
4: February | A trip to the garden show at the Providence Convention Center to inspire us towards spring activities. I already had grandiose thoughts about how to transform our back yard.
6: MARCH | Lots of entertaining. Lots of lunch/dinner parties at the bungalow!!
7: A trip to St. Augustine, where Elizabeth impressed us all with her vertical climbing abilities! | A first visit to the Easter Bunny for Ella | Another Providence outing with Jamie and Julia skating/fondue/and a game of "Mexican Train"
8: April Coconut Telegraph was getting ready for the summer plunge
9: I was leaving my job at CCMC and my good friend Sylvia. One of our last work trips together was to Belgium, where we taught a gait course together. | But... I was joining a very fun new group at Paladin. Their employee outing was a scavenger hunt on Block Island!! | Spring 2010 = Job Change
10: 99 VINES our second season
11: We spent many hours adding edging and weed-blocker to each row | By September a few of the more vigorous vines had small bunches of grapes
12: My very first "real" garden!! Up until now I've only had balcony gardens in flower pots....as it turns out gardening in the ground is a little different. But I think I'm starting to get the hang of it!! And I'm definitely a gardening addict. At one point this spring I couldn't drive by a nursery without stopping to buy a new plant!! | SUMMER
14: Newport -September We celebrated Halli and Jenn's 40th Birthdays. We stayed at this "mini mansion" right off of Thames Street. Michael took us for a cocktail cruise on Coconut through Newport Harbor at dusk.

17: OCT Wine Making batch #3 | Mel and Jenn ran the NIKE 1/2 marathon in San Fran
18: Halloween | Halloween is a scene on Eighth Street. Over 700 trick-or-treaters came by in less than 3 hours.
19: November | Michael was involved in an accident while training for a triathlon. He was riding along Blackstone Park when a driver hit him. He suffered 12 fractures in his spine, scapula, clavicle and ribs. It took him several months to heal... but he immediately started thinking about racing again.....
