Every day =in choir has always brought something me, something unexpected, and most importantly, something fun in my life. My favorite memory from choir hasn't really been a single event, but more like all of my experiences in singing with others, through something greater than myself, combined. Over the years, music has helped turn me from an empty shell of a little kid into, well, a real living, breathing person. Music, especially singing, is the center of my life, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Here's to hoping for the best. I will be attending George Washington University Voice/Music Composition

8: Elena Contis \There are far too many memories & experiences throughout my 4 years that the music program has blessed me with, so here are just a few: Traveling to the rainy city & our nations capital, getting the feeling after performing well (or not), Barroll stories in Vivace, becoming CIF champions with varsity choir, getting my first solo in Bare Rhythm, getting my fair share of yells from Barroll, becoming director of Bare Rhythm, and most of all experiencing all of these times with amazing people I will never forget. I intend to keep music a big aspect of my life while in college & for the rest of my life. | Michael Lewis Seeing my name on the Unstrumental 2010-2011 list is my favorite music memory. The weather, people & music were all perfect. The highlight of that trip was when my friends, Mr. Barroll & I ate crab legs in the streets of Pike Place Market. It was an incredible bonding experience, one which I will never forget.

11: Henry Vaughn One of my favorite memories is the trip to Savannah with the A Band last year. I went to CHS for the music program, and I am glad that i did. I will be attending NYU in the fall as a jazz studies major. | Alex Bell My favorite music memory has to be the time our choir went to Long Beach for a choir festival, and where on the Queen Mary. 12: Romy Winnett My favorite Music Memory is the entire Washington D.C. trip as a whole. It was the combination of the delayed connection flights, trips to the Smithsonian, clinics in Lincoln's church, monster haired roommates, disappearing blue ink, the school spirit at the awards ceremony, the singing on the way back, and the friendships bonded that made the trip truly unforgettable. I will be attending Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo | Max Aveis My favorite music memory is when I received my first time-out in 18 years. Having a great time in D.C., I had a hard time controlling my language, leading Mr. Barroll & Mr. Kohen to overhear me dropping an F-bomb. I was, therefore, sentenced to 20 mins of solitary confinement outside the restaurant while everyone else was talking with their friends. It was surprisingly entertaining. I will be studying in Yeshivas Bais Yisroel in Jerusalem, Israel. I will be engaged in Jewish Studies, and an in-depth study of Hebrew & Aramaic. | James Martinez My favorite music memory from high school is playing "willow Weep for Me in Reno with Black Band. In the fall of 2012 I will be attending Moorpark College & participating in an internship at Infinity Precicion Engineering.

15: Zack Heidenreich My favorite memory in choir has to be all the great & new people I have met over the four years. I also remember all the fun times I had with my friends. I am going to attend Cal State Northridge and I am going in as undecided. | Jared Shull I will never forget all of the days at lunch my freshman & sophomore years that Michael Aspinwall, Jessica Lipstone, and I spent working on the Ewazen Trio for Flute, Horn & Piano. Playing music with them definitely has been one of my ten musical experiences. The music was challenging, we all were dedicated, and although we only ended up performing one movement of the piece, I still have incredibly fond memories of the entire rehearsal process. I remember first looking at the piece & thinking to myself, "I'm actually going to have to practice this. I can't wait... Even years later, from time to time the elegant pastoral melodies will wander into my subconscious & remind me of the wonderful time I spent playing music with friends.
