2: Asian Civillisation museum | The museum is housed in the former Empress Place building. It was originally designed as a Court House when it was constructed by convict labour in 1867. However, it was used by various Government departments instead. The building was renamed Empress Place Building in 1907 to commemorate the reign of Queen Victoria of England,Empress of India.It was then converted to the privately - run Empress Place Museum from 1989 to 1995 and re-opened as Asian Civillisation Museum in 2 March 2003 as one of the three National Museum in Singapore.

4: Time Capsule | The time capsule was situated outside the Asian Civillisation Museum,was officially sealed on the 29 december 1990the Deputy Prime Minister Mr OngTeng Chong..The time capsule stores a significant items from Singapore's 25 years of independence .It will be opened in the year 2015on the occasion of Singapore's 50thAnniversary of Independence. 6: Raffles Landing Site | In 1819 Sir Stamford Raffles,the founder of Singapore. Landed on the Singapore River Bank.He saw around him were many malay fishermen casting and repairing their net he was very surprise when he saw this beutiful island he decided to start a trade here.He then signed the treaty with temegong abdul rahman from then on Singapore was part of the British Colony.And Singapore was called Temasek which means "free port" many people from around the world come to Singapore to do buisness because it is a free port and they can bring their goods in and Singapore is in the middle of many countries when they want to travel from one place to another they will past by here and they will stop here to sell things and rest This pure white poly-marble statue is the replica of the original Raffles statue erected in front of the Victoria Concert Hall
