27: FIELD TRIPS
28: Kindergarten | This year the kindergarten class went to the Carrie Murray Nature Center and met some creepy critters. At the creative Cow they made community buildings out of paper bags, The K-2 students went to the Irvine Nature Center, where they enjoyed learning about insects.
31: The primary class went on many fun trips this year including spending a day at Port Discovery and visited the Maryland Science Center. When they went to the Creative Cow the primary class used spin art to make planets.
33: The intermediate class went on a field trip to Friends Park measuring everything in the park from the pond to the cemetery. They also went to the National Aquarium, National Museum of the American Indian in Washington D.C. The intermediate students went to Jerusalem Mills, where they learned about colonial times and played with colonial toys.
34: Fifth and Sixth
35: The fifth and Sixth grade went to Holloway Farm where they had a hay ride.They also went to a local Cockeysville quarry where they furthered their knowledge about rock formation. For the final field trip of the year the fifth and sixth grade went to Crystal Grottoes Caverns, then on to Harper's Ferry. There they got to go canoing on the Potomac and hiking through the woods.
37: The seventh grade were able to go on field trips where they investigated the health of the stream at Eden Mill, visited WBAL to learn about green screens and meteorology.ON a cold day in February the 7th grade learned how to do yoga . Students learned about glass blowing at McFadden's Art Glass.For the end of the year trip the seventh grade went to Fox Island, VA to learn more about the Chesapeake Bay and have fun!
39: The eighth grade class went on field trips to where they went to National Museum of American History in D.C., Constitution Center and Independence Hall, Annapolis to the Maryland State House, they worked with William Penn House to provide community service. They planted seeds to be used in a community garden.They also explored Gettysburg, PA. They enjoyed one of the United State's few remaining cycloramas. For the big three day field trip at the end of the year the ighth grade went camping in Harpers Ferry.
