2: Muhammad Ali was a famous boxer who was a world champion in the 1960's. He was one of the reasons that boxing became so popular. He is most know for the fight of the century when he fought Joe Frazier. He is also very well know for his saying "Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee." 3: Martin Luther King Jr. was one of the most important men in United States history. He was was the key to civil rights movement. He is most well known for his "I have a dream" speech in this speech he told people about his dream of all men being treated equal. He is now one of the most respected man in U.S. history for what he did. 7: Star Trek was a very popular show from the 1960's. It was one of the first science fiction series that was really popular. It became so popular that it lasted for many decades. Thousands of students across the country read this book every year for school. The United State won this race in 1969 when Neil Armstrong became the first man to step foot on the moon. 10: Broadway in New York city is one of the most famous streets in the world. It is know for its amazing play and musicals though out New York. 11: President John F. Kennedy was one of the most respected men in the united States of America and come from a very famous and well know family of the Kennedy's. He was a great president and was a huge part of the civil rights movement. This all ended when tragedy stuck on November 22 1963 when President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.
