1: A Ashamed | At the end of Act IV, Abigail Williams was ashamed for everything she had done. She was a liar, and had the whole town fooled that she was in the right.

2: B Blind | In the courthouse scene, everyone is blind to the fact that Abigail is lying about the byrd, the air, andthe needle that she stabbed herself with.

3: Abigail Williams made cunning remarks toward Marry Warren | C Cunning

4: D Decietful | The crucible is full of decietful lies from Abigail, proctor, Elizabeth and, even the judges.

5: E Envious | Abigail Williams gets envious of Goody Proctor, and plots to kill her.

6: F Fear | As the play goes on, Abigail starts to fear for her life. So, she eventually steals from her uncle Parris, and sneaks out of town.

7: G Guilty | John Proctor was guilty of lechery. Later, he confessed to save his life.

8: H Hypocrite | Abigail Williams was the biggest hypocrite, lying to her uncle saying they were not in the woods dancing and calling witches but, later changed it to they were not dancing.

9: I Innocent | Goody Proctor, Goody Nurse, and Goody Putnam were all innocent of witchcraft.

10: J Judgement | Goody Proctor said she held no judgemnet toward her husband, John Proctor.

11: K Kind | The Crucible was not intended to be a kind play. Miller wanted it to be a devilish book about the Salem witch trials.

12: L Liar | Mr. Proctor said that Goody proctor was not a liar, she knew no lies. But in the end she lied to defend him.

13: M Manipulative | Abigail Williams was a very manipulative person. She used many different stories and caniving lies to manipulate the court or town.

14: N Nuisance | Abigail Williams, Betty Parris, and many other girls were being a nuisance while dancing in the woods and calling witches.

15: O Oblivious | The judges of the court were oblivious to the fact that Abigail and her allies were all lying about seeing Mary Warren's spirit.

16: P Powerless | Elizabeth Proctor was not as powerless as she thought. When she lied to cover up John's lechery, she changed the whole plot of the story.

17: Q Quarrel | In Act II, Elizabeth and John Proctor sit down for supper, but end up[ having a quarrel over Goody Proctor allowing Mary Warren to go to town.

18: R Resolution | The resolution of The Crucible is where John and Goody Proctor have one more moment alone before he signs the paper stating he admits to lechery.

19: S Sin | While trying to repeat the 10 commandments, Mr. Proctor forgets adultery due to his own sin he committed.

20: T Tortured | Mr. Giles was tortured to death by heavy rocks laid on his chest, because he would not plead guilty nor innocent to the charges made against him.

21: U Undeniable | John Proctor's committed adultery was undenialbe after Elizabeth told him she knew all about it.

22: V Vulnerable | Though, Abigail and Elizabeth were never together, Elizabeth would have probably felt vulnerable towards Abigail considering Abigail's wishes to have her killed.

23: W Witches | Some of the girls in Salem town were accused of dancing naked in the woods and calling upon the witches spirits.

24: X eXecuted | If you did not confess to a crime that was charged against you, you were executed and hanged.

25: Y Yield | Abigail Williams claimed she was sent away from the Proctors' house, as a servant, because she would not yield to Mr. Proctor.

26: Z Zany | Abigail's zany behavior caused for her to fear her life. She was a young, ignorant girl who was just trying to stay out of trouble.
