FC: Kent & Mary

1: Dear Birthmother, Words cannot begin to tell you how thankful we are to be considered as the adoptive family for your baby. We pray this book will help you get to know us, and you will feel God's guidance and peace through this time. We will be praying for you, your baby, and your decisions. Our hearts are touched by your courage. Kent and I have been married (very happily!) for 18 years. We have 3 biological children. We love being parents and were hoping to have a larger family. It became clear a few years ago that this was not going to happen biologically. Our extended family has been so blessed by adoption in the past. When we felt God's leading to pursue adoption, we said "yes!" God is so able to bring good from hard things. We would like you to know that we commit to raise your child in a Christian home filled with unconditional love. God has really blessed us, and we will provide for your baby's needs, as well. Quality time together is very important to us, and we are thankful to be able to have Mary stay home. She loves being a full-time mom. We also are committed to bringing up children with a great education and social activities so that they are able to pursue the path God has chosen just for them. Your child also has big brothers just waiting to love him/her, and look out for them. They are very caring kids. Our extended families are close and are so supportive of us. They are very excited about loving a new family member! Please know that we have so much love to offer your child. We will also share with him/her how much courage and love it took for you to make this choice. We will continue to pray for you as you make this decision. You have our sincere love and prayers, Kent and Mary

Breckin is in the 4th grade and loves to be with his brothers and Mom & Dad. He also loves to swim. Breckin tends to beat us all at board games and enjoys it immensely! All 3 guys love to roller blade, build Lego "creations" together, have family read-aloud times, and are very involved in Scouts with their Dad!! 21: Who are we? We are Kent & Mary, a Christian couple who has been happily married for 18 years. We have been blessed to have 3 biological children but would love to grow our family through the gift of adoption. Our family is characterized by love & respect for each other. Kent is a great husband and father. He is loving, caring, a hard worker, funny, and a great family-man. Mary is thrilled to be a stay-at-home mom and take care of their family. She loves making sure everyone is cared for and is very loving. They are both college educated. What do we look like? Kent is a 44 year old Caucasian American male. He is 5'8" and has a medium build. He has dark hair and brown eyes. Mary is a 42 year old Caucasian American female. She is 5'6" and also has a medium build. She has brown hair and brown eyes. What are our occupations? Kent is a project manager for a large general contractor. He enjoys interacting with his clients and coworkers. We are thankful that his job does not require much travel at all. He is able to be home most evenings and spend time with us! Mary is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist but once children came into our family she joyfully changed careers and has been a stay-at-home mom ever since. Where do we live? Our two-story home sits on an acre of land in the country, but we are still very close to a medium-sized town with its conveniences. We enjoy having room for the kids to run and play in a safe environment. We live close to several nice parks and live in a very nice, loving community. Why adopt? The decision to adopt has been carefully made after lots of prayer and thought. We love being parents and would love to grow our family through adoption. We have witnessed the blessing of adoption first hand in our extended family. God has led us to this path and we pray he will lead you to just the right family for your child. We feel we can provide a loving, stable home to a child and that precious child would also be such a gift to our family.
