60: Dear Family and Friends It seems as though we were just anticipating 2010, now we are reviewing it! Where does the time go? This year, as most of you know, was a roller coaster ride in our home and our family. The highs were high and the lows were low. We take it a day at a time and try to enjoy the journey. We started out the year celebrating Owen's 2nd birthday. (This was a high) He is getting so big and loves to make us all smile. We are learning ways to make it easier for him to communicate with us. He is learning how to make decisions with his eyes to tell us what he prefers. He now picks the shirt for the day and animals and toys to hold. He used to just look at the item he preferred but now he looks and smiles when his decision is made. He loves giving kisses and blowing bubbles to see us laugh. In March we welcomed our 4th child, Landry Gale, into our family. He was born with low muscle tone also. We were blessed enough to have him strong enough to come home and be with his family until he was taken back to be with our Heavenly Father. Abby turned 7 this year. She is in 2nd grade. She loves her teacher, being social, reading, playing sports, and anything to do with animals. She plays t-ball in the summer and this fall she started clogging. She loves it! She also started playing the piano and claims it is not her favorite, but she is doing well and it is fun to hear her play. Abby is still a great helper when it comes to Owen, she is such a little mother. Bentley is still our little sportsman! He turned 10 this year. He still LOVES football and did really well again this year in pee-wee’s. If he had the choice I am sure he would eat, sleep and drink football. He plays any sport that is offered here. He finally got his wish to stop piano, but he is picking up guitar instead. He is enjoying learning and playing. He is a natural at most things, the motivation just has to come from within. Lenn is still working and ranching on the side. He has been home a lot lately due to shoulder surgery. He is doing well, it just takes time to heal. Nobody is complaining about him being home though. Gayle is still home taking care of Owen and trying to keep up with Bentley and Abby. They keep her busy, but she would not want to be anywhere else. We are excited as this season approaches. We are so grateful for our blessings, maybe more so this year than ever. We are grateful for the gospel in our lives and the knowledge and testimony of eternal families. Our trials have made us appreciate our children more and to enjoy each and everyday. We still have our days but on a whole we are a more grateful family. As Christmas comes along we hope to remember and reflect more on the birth and life of Jesus Christ. With Him nothing is impossible. We hope you have a great Thanksgiving, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Love the Johnson's Lenn, Gayle, Bentley, Abby, Owen and lil’angel Landry
