44: Vehicles Papa drove... | Papa drove Bajaj Scooter in India from 1982 - 1986. Mickey used to sit in front of papa and Mummy/Bawa were in the back. One day papa shouted at Mickey because he would not sit down down properly as his hair were in papa's face. Mickey refused to sit on the scooter after that and the very next day Papa went and bought a car. | In 1986 Papa bought his first car - FIAT. It was light green colored car. Parking car in India was not a problem in '86 because this was only the 2nd car in the colony. Papa used to drop us to New Era Public school in the car when he was off. | Renault was Papa's first car in Canada. He bought this car right after TTC strike in 1990. Papa used to take us to Niagara Falls every other week in this car (eventually after 2 summers the whole family got sick of Niagara Falls) | In 1994 papa bought Oldsmobile Cutlas Cierra. Both Bawa and Mickey learned to drive with this car (of course papa was our teaching instructor) | In 2003 papa bought Buick leSabre. Just like the Oldsmobile this was a very big car as well. Papa loved big cars. | In 2008 papa bought Honda Accord EX-L. He really loved this car. He used to wash his car every available weekend. Always used to keep his car clean and tidy. This is the car papa decorated with flowers and used to take both Bawa and Mickey's wedding. One thing papa regretted about the car was that it only had 5 seats. When Mickey got married we had 6 of us in the house and had to take two cars when we were going out. Papa was thinking of selling the Accord and buying Honda Odessey minivan in 2011. | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6
