17: I Can Make A Difference by Sarah Fleischmann I can make a difference by watering a flower. All it took was a little love and a little power. On a bright sunny day a bumblebee may pass by, feeling a bit hungry craving some pollen pie. Hovering fluttering Sticking both feet in his snack filling his black and gold belly, regardless of his track. When the time comes to go off and away he will buzz flying to another bloom pollination he does. Each flower he lands on from that point going forward, shares a peace of the love shown by the water I first poured. | May 2008

20: Little League Day | at Camden Yards | Emmorton's Little League Day was a bust for us. We lost our original tickets, and decided to buy more. It started raining immediately after the pre-game activities, which delayed the game for two hours. Assuming the game would be eventually canceled, we left. As we reached the car, the skies cleared and they announced that the game would begin shortly. In summary, we purchased two sets of tickets and never saw a single pitch. | -June 2008

The girls loved trick-or-treating at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and then again the next night at Downtown Disney. We enjoyed one day with Uncle Richard and Aunt Jeannie at Magic Kingdom. Although we had a great time, there were some not-so-great memories too: Sarah losing her sling in Epcot; Rhonda's meltdown in Hollywood Studios; Sarah getting Bronchitis; Brianna vomiting after riding Space Mountain; missing the last shuttle to our car and having to walk; and Kelsey demanding to be carried wherever we went.
46: Our first snowfall of the season provided just enough ground cover for a great picture of the girls in their Santa hats. This picture became our family Christmas Card for 2008!
47: Like past years, Rhonda made batches and batches of 'White Trash' to give away as small token gifts to neighbors, teachers, Craig's coworkers, and friends. Kelsey loved to 'help'.
