2: Dylan and his mother went to visit Aunt Liz. | Dylan was excited, " I am going to meet a donkey!"
3: But first, Dylan is going to pick apples for the Donkey. | Are the apples in this tree? NO!
4: Are the apples under this tree? | No, that's a Japanese Maple tree.
5: Are the apples in this tree? | No, that's a Plum tree.
6: Are the apples under this bush? | No, that's a Rhododendron bush.
7: Are the apples under the leaves? NO! | Are the apples in the wheelbarrow? NO!
8: "The apples are under the apple tree," said Aunt Liz | "Yum, this apple tastes good," said Dylan
9: Aunt Liz, Mom and Dylan went to Farmer Carter's farm to meet the Donkey.
10: Look, there's a horse trailer | My, what big tires. The Donkey is not in the horse trailer
11: Dylan is sitting on the tractor | Farmer Carter has an orange tractor. The tractor is in the barn. | The orange tractor has a blade. But there's no Donkey in the barn.
12: Look! There's Lily the horse. Who is behind her? | Java the Donkey is behind Lily the horse!
13: "Hello Java," said Mom. | "Eeehaw," brayed Java. "Hello Java," said Dylan. | "Eehaw," brayed Java.
14: Java loves apples. | Java wants to eat the apples Dylan brought.
15: "This apple is for you, Java," said Dylan. | "Oops! you dripped one!"
16: "Dylan, this is Lily the horse," said Aunt Liz | Dylan gave Lily an apple, too.
17: Lily wears horse shoes. Java wants to look, too.
18: It's time to say goodbye to Lily.
