Library of Congress, Madison Building | Front Door | Wally, our tour guide, told me that the trees in this photo are located outside James H. Billington's office who just happens to be the head of the Library of Congress & June's boss. | Our guides navigated through DC expertly avoiding the Saturday morning demonstration that had half of the city blocked off. Our first stop on the W&J Adventure was exclusive admittance into the head librarian's office.
Our tour guide, June, has a "day job" at the Library of Congress. This is her very fancy office.
 My favorite photo with June.
Conference Room | James Billington's Office | Photo of James Billington (far left) and his family
The deck outside Mr. Billington's office offers the perfect view of the Capital Building.
View of the Library of Congress - Jefferson Building from outside deck
June's tour continued via the underground tunnel system between the Madison Building and the Jefferson Building | Wally & David trying to look important. They should have tried harder!
The Library of Congress - Jefferson Building is amazing. It is a must see attraction.
June, our friendly Adventure Guide, obtained VIP access to the head librarian's formal office. Admittance to this office is not on any of the tours for the general public. Kudos to June for the VIP treatment.
View from the loft overlooking the librarian's office.
The United States Air Force Memorial
The United States Air Force Memorial honors the service and sacrifices of the men and women of the United States Air Force. The memorial is located in Arlington, Virginia, overlooking the Pentagon and adjacent to Arlington Cemetery. The Air Force Memorial is easily seen on the skyline of Washington, D.C.

Well, our Adventures with Wally & June have come to an end. At least for this time. Our farewell dinner was held at the Chart House Restaurant in Alexandria. The food was excellent and the service was superb. And I must say. . . Wally was one happy guy. He was delighted to find lobster on the menu -- his all time favorite thing to order. We are really looking forward to our next Adventure with Wally & June. Hold on to your ears. . . . Las Vegas here we come!!! See ya real soon!
