S: Chincoteague 2011

BC: ANNA age 2 1/2

CHINCOTEAGUE 2011 We spent this years 4th of July in Chincoteague and had a blast.!We kept busy crabbing, relaxing on the beach, visiting the ponies, and living it up at the carnival and mini sports center. The weather was gorgeous, the house beautiful, and the mosquitoes plentiful to say the least.! It was a completely enjoyable week of valuable family time that came to an end way too quickly! The kids gorged themselves on crabs and ice cream all week and crashed each night from exhaustion. It was a week of precious memories with our precious little people.!

 Bring On The Sun!

Between collecting shells, attacking the waves, and building sand dunes Adam and Drew had a blast on the Assateague beaches!

Fun in the Sun! | Addison and Anna could not get enough of the sand and sun. They splashed around a bit but mostly enjoyed digging and dumping. Could it possibly get any cuter??

We had beautiful weather and gorgeous mornings on the beach. Dave and I were constantly counting heads and applying sunscreen but is was well worth the work. We all had a blast-especially Drew who loved diving head first into the waves and coming up with mouth fulls of salt water! I will never underdstand that kid!

In your eyes I see joyful discovery In your eyes I see uncondiontional love In your eyes I see carefree peace In your eyes I see innocent love In your eyes I see my dreams come true

Adam totally enjoyed the ride and petting the ponies while Anna could not get enough of the baby ponies. We had to constantly pull her hands out of the fence to avoid any missing fingers!

Addison was a natural on the ponies and was in her glory. Drew enjoyed the ride too but got hot and bored quickly when the "active" part of the visit was over. Limited attention span to say the least!

FIREMEN'S CARNIVAL | It was quite an interesting 4th of July. The carnival was a bit crowded so the kids did a few games and the carousel. Anna loved it so much she ignored us trying to stay on for a second ride-she was quite determined. The night ended with the beautiful fireworks and an exciting lightening storm. GOD BLESS AMERICA

We spent a fun morning at Chincoteague's sports complex. Adam and Drew loved flying free on the launchpad and all had a great time on the go-carts with Daddy. The bumper boats left everyone a bit wet (some more than others.) Daddy and Anna got their kicks from trapping Addison and I under the waterfall. Drew and Adam aided in our soaking and by the end of the ride Addison was furious at me. She couldn't wait to get away from me and said she was never riding with me again! It was really quite comical if you ask me!

It just wouldn't be a Chincoteague vacation without a trip or two to the ISLAND CREAMERY

Beautiful weather, plentiful crabs, and a boat just outside the back door - it just doesn't get any better

 S E R I O U S

Crabbing is serious business to our crew. Whether they are babies, females, or monster crabs you better not miss them! | CRAB B I N G

 we are so BLESSED

The boat means: Adam-crabs to eat Drew-scooping everything! Addison-checking lines every two seconds Anna-eating and drinking everything in sight Mom&dad-total exhaustion!!!

 W I S H F U L T H I N K I N G

"A perfect summer day is when the sun is shinning, the breeze is blowing,...

 and we are all together."

 R E C H A R G I N G

From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised. Psalm 113:3
