FC: Cabrillo Business and Entrepreneurship Center Fall 2011 Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour

""You must be the change you want to see in the world." -Ghandi

The CHANGE was initiated when one organization decided to mix things up and make an impact in their state... | College of Alameda | Chabot College

Evergreen Valley College | City College of San Francisco

In mid-September, the California Business & Entrepreneurship Centers partnered with the Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour, exposing young people to the opportunities of entrepreneurship and to top young entrepreneurs who have successfully launched their own companies.

The events were not ordinary events. They included keynotes, workshops, Q&A panels, and high fives! The speakers were nationally recognized entrepreneurs and experts in their industry. They shared their personal stories and advice to motivate and help the young people of California to succeed.

City College of San Francisco - September 21th | "This event gave me an understanding of what I need to do to turn my idea into a reality." - Ciara Lawson

"I learned that I need to act now and that there is nothing holding me back. My ideas are valuable, I just have to network and let people know they exist." - Isah Hester

Evergreen Valley College September 22nd | "It made me realize that I can make things happen! I just need to keep going and do it! I learned about a lot of resources that can help me start a business." - Walter Estrada

Chabot College October 6th | "This event helped me learn that failure is success's best friend! I realized that I need to get outside my comfort zone. I need to become comfortable in uncomfortable situations." - Benjamin Roberson

College of Alameda - October7th | "I came to this event not knowing what to expect. I left knowing that I want to open a hair salon. I learned that in order for me to do this I just need courage and persistence. I need to love my family, friends, employees, and customers and everything else will take its course." - Jessica Renee Smith

The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour team wants to thank you for allowing us to be a small part of the work you do. Without the Cabrillo Business & Entrepreneurship Center, thousands of students would be less inspired and less likely to see entrepreneurship as a viable career path. Together, we have helped them to lead lives of passion, purpose and prosperity. We would like to say thank you and you are AWESOME!
