West Texas - Through the Eye of Olympus - Page Text Content

BC: R. M. Gibson was raised on a small Indiana farm during the Depression years. After high school, he served in the Navy during the Korean conflict and upon his return graduated from Indiana University. Following a long career with major companies in New York and elsewhere in the U.S., he was an officer in the largest privately held bank in Texas. In 1986, he and his educator wife relocated to Europe, and for the next 26 years lived in Barcelona and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. During this time, he turned to writing and his books can be found at www.rmgibson.com. But, an avid photographer since his teen years, the photos here were taken during a trip through west Texas. Having traveled worldwide for more than 40 years, he has amassed a diverse library of high quality images. Gibson and his wife are now retired and have returned to south Texas.
