7: The banyan tree in Courthouse Square
11: This Banyan Tree was planted in April, 1873, and marked the 50th Anniversary of Christian missionary work in Lahaina. The tree was imported from India and was only 8 feet tall. It now stands over 60 feet high, has 12 major trunks in addition to a huge core. It stretches over a 200-foot area and shades 2/3 of an acre.

18: Our stroll down Lahaina was awesome. We were able to do some shopping, visited the local market, enjoyed some local fruits, ahi poke, and look we even saw a papaya and malunggay tree.

30: Stretching across Maui’s southern and eastern coastline, Haleakala National Park is home to Maui's highest peak. Rising 10,023 feet above sea level, Haleakala's graceful slopes can be seen from just about any point on the island. Haleakala means "house of the sun" in Hawaiian, and legend has it that the demigod Maui lassoed the sun from its journey across the sky as he stood on the volcano’s summit, slowing its descent to make the day last even longer
32: Very spirtual mountain to the Hawaiian culture which I have total respect for. A very rare plant called the silversword, grows there, and a very rare bird the Nene, which is coming back
33: 1. Its cold and windy 2. It snows there 3. No Trees or bushes grow there 4. You see over the clouds 5. You can see the stars at night 6. You can horseback to the middle
