Holiday magic starts here

The best personalized photo gifts for the holiday season include custom photo books, 12-month photo calendars, custom holiday cards, and personalized home decor prints. On Mixbook, photo books allow users to curate memories into softcover, hardcover, or layflat albums. Custom calendars require 12 photos to create year-round visual keepsakes, while custom home decor options include canvas, acrylic, metal, and poster prints.

Mixbook custom photo gifts are produced and shipped within 1 to 2 business days after an order is placed online or through the mobile app. Creation time on the Mixbook Studio™ editor depends on the product type, but tools like Story Mode allow users to automatically arrange photo layouts in minutes. Customers should factor in standard or expedited shipping transit times on top of the 1–2 day production window to ensure arrival before holiday delivery deadlines.

The price difference between softcover, hardcover, and layflat photo books on Mixbook depends on cover durability and binding technology, with softcover options offering the most budget-friendly entry point. Hardcover photo books provide enhanced durability and premium feel, while layflat photo books use seamless ultra-thick pages that rest flat across two-page spreads without center gutters. All three binding formats can be customized across multiple trim sizes with Mixbook Studio™ editor or the mobile app.

The main difference between custom photo canvas prints and acrylic photo blocks is the material finish and visual presentation. Canvas prints feature photos printed on textured fabric wrapped over a frame for a traditional, glare-free aesthetic, whereas acrylic photo blocks print images directly behind thick clear acrylic for a modern, high-gloss 3D depth effect. Both custom home decor formats on Mixbook are fully customizable with single images or multi-photo collages for holiday gift-giving.

A custom holiday calendar on Mixbook requires a minimum of 12 photos, one for each month of the year, though users can add additional images to create multi-photo page collages. Mixbook wall calendars allow complete customization of starting months, grid layouts, and personalized dates such as family birthdays or anniversaries.

Yes, personalized holiday photo gifts can be designed and ordered directly from a phone using the Mixbook mobile app. The app provides direct access to smartphone camera rolls, allowing users to select photos and assemble custom photo books, calendars, and wall art. AI-assisted features like Story Mode automatically organize photos into curated holiday gift layouts in minutes.
