Standard softcover and hardcover custom photo books can hold up to 399 pages to accommodate large photo collections. Special binding styles have smaller page limits, with Layflat photo books supporting up to 99 pages on signature paper and Luxury Album formats maxing out at 90 pages.

The most popular size for a custom photo book is 8.5x11 inches, which serves as a versatile standard for family albums and travel books. Custom layouts are also available in sizes ranging from compact 6x6 inch square books up to large 14x11 inch landscape formats across 770 available design themes.

Photos can be transferred directly from a phone to a desktop project by scanning a project-specific QR code displayed on the website with a mobile device camera. Alternatively, iOS users can install the Mixbook mobile app to automatically upload images directly from their device's camera roll into their account library.

Use the search feature and type in a key word to locate it

Large photo collections can be sorted in the editor by Date Taken, Date Added, or File Name, and searched directly by keyword. To prevent duplicate placements across your project, the editor includes a "Hide Used" feature that filters out images already placed into page layouts.
