2. Create a page for all the key players
If you included others on your mini adventure, use the first few pages of your book to introduce them. On the first page of your book, add pictures and caption them with names and roles. For example, for a road trip adventure, "Dad: Lead driver, radio station decider, and boss of pit stops" or "Mom: Head navigator, snack carrier, and one-woman cleanup crew" can be fabulous content for your book's first page.
If your companions were your besties, introductions still apply. It’s fun to include one serious photo of each pal, then something hilarious, like Heather jumping into the fountain. If you took your dog along, she deserves a page too.
3. Map your adventures
Adding maps is a great accent for a photo book for a road-trip mini adventure, or any adventure that involves going from one place to another. If you have a hand-written itinerary from your trip, that's great. Snap a picture of it and make it a full-page image in your book.

Pick one of the seven different styles of maps that are available, from vintage to a classic road map style. Click and drag the map you chose onto a page or a two-page spread in your photo book. Yes! The photo book themes are different but all include layout options for more than one photo per page. Some include as many as four or more per page. Plus, you can choose different layouts for any photo book in the Layouts tab to the left of the project space.
